When I was told that Norwegians like to watch slow-moving-sightseeing program on TV, I thought it is nonsense.
I heard Norwegians' favorite program is the hour-long "Cruise along the Coastline."
* For example, see Hurtigruten cruises along the coast of Norway.
Of course, actual sightseeing is much better than passive sightseeing.
But it costs too much time and money to leave for a tour in foreign countries.
Then the best alternative is watching the slow-moving-sightseeing program on TV.
A few days ago, I've found a good TV channel which satisfies my requirements.
- Nice view of exotic landscape
- Easy listening music
- Non-remote places with easy access.
It is Sky Healing program broadcast by Sky TV (on Ch. 167 of my APTV at home).
The above scene is the aerial view of Canadian Niagara Falls. The course was from the Canadian Lake Superior to Niagara Falls.
Yes, I was there with my son in January 2008 on a 8-minute helicopter tour (fare $130).
