Nowadays it is said that card companies or finance companies remind us of spouse birthdays or wedding anniversaries which are to be observed.
One day a flower basket was delivered to home. It was sent by a bank manager who regards my wife as one of his VIP clients.
I was a little bit surprised because we regularly observe her birthday on the basis of the lunar calendar, not solar calendar.
My dog, Petit, made a picturesque pose behind the flowers.
Likewise, my wife’s brothers and sisters usually give greetings each other for the Lunar New Year on the first Sunday after the Lunar New Year day which fell on February 5 this year.
The members are so large that we could meet at a Korean restaurant near Yangje Metro Station.
Apparently there takes place a shift in generations because my wife is youngest in her family members but she is now over sixty of age.
Another news was the company has moved to a new building at Gangnam-gu.
The 15-story building looks magnificent with an exotic facade. At the first floor, a franchise coffee shop is scheduled for opening soon.
In addition to my wife’s lunar calendar birthday as explained above, the birthdays of two sons were observed in January and February.
In celebration of these birthdays in the early months of the year, we enjoyed to see flowers of every kind including tropical orchid blooming simultaneously at home.
I also celebrated my birthday with my family at a Suwon galbi restaurant in advance of the actual birthday which is no more a Labor Day public holiday in the early March.
Now it's the season when a squirrel comes out to look for food.
