On a winter day, it's quite natural to have some snow.
My doggy Petit likes to walk on snow.
On a persimmon tree, a flock of birds enjoy meal like at a feast.
Traditionally some fruits used to be left generously for hungry birds in winter.
Koreans say such a thing as "birds' food" (까치밥).
The Gwanghwamun square where people gather for candlelit vigil on every Saturday was calm and peaceful.
On a facade of a nearby building, there was a big sign board which encourages generous living as follows:
One's life with his hands open and
With his eyes attentive willing to share
Must be worth of living.
At a street corner behind the Sejong Center, there was a statue who was pursuing something overhead.
It seemed to show that another thing has to be borne like a cross.
Likewise on the street in front of the National Assembly at Yeoido, some businessmen who operated factories at the Gaeseong Industrial Complex (GIC) were demonstrating in camps claiming the government to compensate their loss and damages. GIC was shut down by the Park Geun-hye government one year ago in a very short notice.
Now we're chasing tangible success like a big and sweet sponge cake (castella) as shown below.
